Pepe the Horseman Football League show also showed them pulverising us in the first half. Neglecting to show McCleary continuosly raping their fullback, and a bl8nt handball in the box from Obita's shot.

Cheers lads, at home pog and hrk upfront or do you think we will stick with pog up top hrk on the wing?
I would be surprised if HRK was favoured upfront ahead of ALF in a partnership.
I think we'll see either one up or more of what we saw against Watford and Brighton with a sort of 4-3-3. Pog central, ALF drifting between central and wide as needed defensively and HRK / Blackman / McCleary filling out the other wide forward slot. It leaves us a bit narrow at times. I thought it worked best against Watford where Jobi could also drift wide from the midfield three. But we did fall apart a bit second half.
Sharp could be a bit of a game changer there though.
They didn't really perform last season though when played together?

I'm sure your average football viewer would much rather watch McCleary getting half a yard on the full-back than any actual shots on goal.

They made it look like we didn't touch the ball in the whole of the first half. It was very upsetting.

Pardsme Sat in the home end, our fans were in fine voice. Had McCarthy to thanks for first half. As others pointed out Guthrie gave the ball away a few times but is the heartbeat of the team. Baird was solid, Obita didn't do anything wrong, Mccleary was menacing down the flanks. For a big lad, Pog rarely win any headers but we all know that and forgive him when does the biz on the pitch.
On another note, was impressed with the home concourse, plenty of room to move, no queues for food/drinks or toilet. Shame it not like that at the Mad
