Jay o/
Maguire
One8Seven1 Our game under Brian was hitting it into the channels, so that doesn't make much sense

That's not how football works but don't worry about it.

Hence his dismissal.. and we moved on.

You wouldn`t believe it 6 months on

Really? Because the patient passing football we're playing at the moment is a world away from the gung-ho long-ball we were put through last season.

Maguire I noticed once again we had less possession than our opponents today (same v Leeds, same v Brighton). Wasn't possession what the haters on here were shouting about last season when we weren't doing so well?

Just goes to show, eh?

We were brilliant on the ball today. Did you see the game? The thought of Brian`s tactics make me cringe now.

What, such tactics that won us promotion to the Premier League?

Less possession in the last two games than the opposition.

An away victory, soaking up pressure and hitting teams in the second half on the counter attack sounds like vintage reading 2011/12 to me.

Agree to a certain extent but we were sat ridiculously deep for the last couple of seasons. We were practically camped out in our own third most matches hopelessly punting it in the air hoping Pog or someone might get on the end of it.

yuuichi Di Canio IN

Brian was just a nice guy championship manager who never learned from his mistakes, not a manager to take us to the top 10 in the prem (or at least make it interesting). Can't wait for Di Canio (the greek guy will do). Just not creepy adkins

Sorry Brian, but you were out of your depth. Thanks for the good times

7 shots on goal in 3 games, I see Brian's adapting Leeds' style of play nicely.

15 for us actually - might explain why we've got 2 wins and a draw from ours and they've got 3 defeats from theirs. Don't let maths and fact get in the way of your love for Brian though.
