Hoop Blah Much evidence? Go on then, show me some actual evidence brendy.

.
you show me some outside of your random assumptions!

how about the pic of him applauding the fans he was so angrily deranged at just minutes before?
the FACT i saw him applaud the fans as he was substituted in the leeds game, which makes the idea he was upset and hurt by the boos and jeers seem a bit odd
the FACT that there are photos of him doing the same thing in existence, while playing for clubs whos fans didnt boo and jeer him.
erm... im sure there are more

LoyalRoyal22 The tilehurst end sum it up nicely for me. spot on.

`After scoring the clincher, Blackman chose to look arrogantly at Reading fans, almost as though they were the s**t on his shoe. While I will never condone booing a player and am an advocate of encouragement while a player is on the pitch, players need to conduct themselves appropriately in the face of those fans voicing their opinion. Blackman has been out of his depth so far in his Reading career and it is, unfortunately, part of football that players who are substandard get booed.`

He should be clapping the fans. Players do it 99% of the time, it's kind of a habit, it doesn't mean too much most of the time. What he does in the heat of the moment after scoring a goal and with the emotion that goes with it might actually be a better insight into his thoughts and feelings.

You say it's a FACT that he did similar and there's all these pictures of it. I've not seen any. I did a quick search on google after it was mentioned a few times and I could see him celebrating, but not in the way he did at Derby.

HoneyRoastHoax You didn't ask a question pops, you did put a ? in your sentence but it didn't make sense as a question.

Try reading it again....known for it? Seems like a question to me.

Try adding a few more words in old timer and maybe I'll read it as a question.

Well done, keep avoiding it then.

You said he was known for doing the celebration. I asked known for it? and for something of any relevance to substantiate that point of view. If that's beyond your grasp of conversational English then I'll try and remember to spell things out a little clearer for you in the future.

Maguire
Hoop Blah I'm more miffed by the reaction on here that his goal wasn't a bit crap

tbh the fact you keep slating the nature of his finish suggests you're a bit of a hater

He took a ball on the run, under pressure, and put it in the back of the net. Don't criticise him for it.

I'm not a hater. I don't think he's quite up the required standard at the moment and that his technique and decision making let him down too often. Physically he's got what it takes, but the games about more than that.

As for the goal. Well he scored and that's all that really matters of course, but if you're getting a little abuse over your contribution I'd wait until you do something a little more accomplished and in control than that goal.

IMO the first touch wasn't ideal, and the finish was less than convincing.

Ah i gettit. It isnt because a player looked at him that he's upset, it's because a Black player looked at him. McCleary, Drenthe, Cummings, avert your eyes!

Hoop Blah
HoneyRoastHoax Stop being a spaz, it's a celebration he does and has done before at other clubs.

I don't really buy that. I've only watched it the once, but his expression doesn't look like someone trying to pull off the old Cantona stare, it looks more someone saying, f**K you, look how good I am, you lot can do one!

I've never really seen him celebrate his collection of penalties for other clubs so I might be wrong, but I'd be surprised.

Blackman in the Post today confirming that his celebration at Derby was a reflection of how he felt and showing some emotion and not just something he's done a lot of in the past.

Fair play to him for finding his form a little of late and coming out and telling a bit of truth and not just some bland spin on things.
