I would suggest most clubs have seen a huge wage increase in the last 3 or 4 years, it's a weak arguement because it's mostly about wage inflation in the game rather than us spending more on players compared to other clubs.

Nonsense. Wage bill under Rodgers was about £20m and it'll be less than £30m this season.

Adkins has extremely well paid players and quite rightly they're in the Top 6 in the league.
