The most important thing for me will be another clean sheet. If we restrict them to taking long shots and also defend well from set pieces 0-0 will be a good result. I can't see this happening though, a realistic result would be 2-1, Ings to get them both for Burnley and a consolation from Le Fondre

I know it is early season but for me this is a must NOT lose game. If we are to challenge for
automatic promotion we cannotlpse this kind of game. We have played well in patches and been jammy too. if we can play as we can we can get a result. Git to play better than we did against Barnsley.

Hi all. Burnley fan here.

It probably hasn't escaped your attention but you've beaten us on our previous 5 meetings since the play offs in 2009. You seem to have a bit of a hex over us with 19 wins to our 8 in total (9 draws). It's not a game I look forward to due to this, and I think most Burnley fans would see a draw as a decent result tomorrow.

We're riding high at the moment, which is rather unexpected considering we have sold our best players in 7 out of the last 8 years, and have spent very little to replace them. There does seem a good togetherness with this team though, so anything could happen, providing we keep our tiny squad fit and free of suspensions.

My prediction: 2-2 (Billy Sharp, who we've tried to sign a couple of times always looks dangerous against us)

A bit of help for those travelling up for the game:

Pics of the pubs around the ground

Pubs to avoid: Turf (home fans only), Princess Royal (home fans only) and Brickmakers (mainly after the games). The rest are usually okay, even with colours as your not a local rival.

The Cricket Club is the designated away fans pub, and has parking available too for a small charge (£4?).

The Bridge Beir Huis is a real ale pub and frequented by lots of Clarets Madders (Clarets Mad being our main forum) prior to games.

The Miners is a WMC which very cheap drinks.

Parking: Cricket Club. There is also a Brewers Fayre a bit further up past the fire station on the left hand side. There is also plenty of street parking.

Safe journey guys, but I hope it's a long journey back, if you know what I mean?!!! ;-)

Yes we can.

And fair play to the Claret up there who's done his best to be helpful ^^

May I take this opportunity to ask how Burnley have been playing, and whether you're a flash in the pan or in the title chase for the long haul?

Your Mum's a room and there's been lots of men inside her... what with her being a room and all.

I've always had a soft spot for Burnley.

Mostly because the away end is sponsored by a family namesake and it's quite frankly, a ridiculous name...

I've had a soft spot for Burnley ever since I switched over to their commentary instead of listening to Peter Hood and whoever the other retard with him was for a game with them, and instead got the great insight of Clarke Carlisle and their regular bloke. Don't mind sharing points with them tomorrow at all.

Oh yeah I remember that. We won 4-0 or something. They were a shining example of commentators. Still Dellor > all for me ;)

Oh, and thanks to the Burnley fan above.

We are still gonna dick em.
