From the OS, "For Player subscribers trying to access commentary - been told there are some central issues with the feed. We will update you ASAP"

Not that that's much help...

It really is time that the merchant bankers running this 'service' got their act in gear and sorted all of thse sort of problems out. People pay good money for it and, given the problems experienced, really deserve a free extension or a credit on their subscription.

Must be a fairly major problem. There are only two games on there, and one of those was lunchtime.

I received an acknowledgement from Player, and replied:

Thanks for your reply, Ruth. Unfortunately I live too far away to get to many games so I rely on Player to get my 'Match Day experience' - it's the only reason i subscribe. I don't know if you're connected to Reading FC, but the commentary is a bit Parson's egg. Mick Gooding (an ex Reading player and manager) is good, but the other commentator (Tim Dellor) is a grade A plonker. If ever Player comes back please replace Dellor with someone who is competent!!

I guess the US is a pretty big country. Should have said it was working OK in the South!

Interfering, perhaps my transmitter is. Adjust the frequency and the tilt on the antenna I will. Direct hate towards them, do not. Why you humans fail, this is. You turn on your own kind.

Funny to make you happier, here is:

How many stormtroopers, take to replace a lightbulb, does it, hmm? Two: To screw the bulb in one, to shoot him and take the credit the other. Hmmmmmm.
