Whore Jackie
Speaking as one who gave up fags many years ago and typically as a convert now hating the smell, I don't really see this as a big deal.
As a physically fit young lad he could probably get away with smoking 40 per day for the next 10 years or so without it affecting his performance on the pitch.
Is he really a role model?
I don't think so and I'm still not convinced that he is the answer to all of England's prayers as a player to build a team around.
Why does the Press hype these young players so much?
In recent times it was Rooney, then Wiltshere and now Ross Barkley.
We don't need the "next Gazza"-we want a decent squad and also not just anyone who plays for Man Utd (Jones,Cleverley,Smalling etc.).
BTW smoking a few fags is the lesser of his addictions (allegedly) so I see this as a non--story designed only so that the headline writer could say that Wenger was "fuming".
