+1 I'm not overly pleased at having posted in such a foolhardy thread. I'm going back to the Gylfi one.

It's always nice to see how an innocuous tweet from an ex player to a current one can set off a huge level of excitement, just waiting for the one where Gylfi posts a picture of the Forbury Lion with the comment, 'Ah, I miss this so much.....', that would HNA screwed.

From BBC "Breaking News" section today

FOOTBALL
West Brom striker Shane Long admits his future is in doubt as he struggles to seal a new contract at The Hawthorns.

Long told the Wolverhampton Express & Star: "I don't want to go anywhere but time is running out on my contract and if an opportunity comes along that is right for me and my family, I will have to take a look at it."

I would be very happy if he came back although not sure we need him since Pog remembered he's a striker...

Pog has only remembered he's a striker because he wants to earn a move away in Jan or next summer.. let's not convince ourselves he's suddenly committed to RFC for his love for the club.

Also, Sharp is only a loan and Blackman is utter dogshit, so we may need to look at a striker come January, although we can't afford Long!

Long would probably be ideal for us playing one up. ALF to come on late on and feed off him too.

Would be a massive step backwards for his career.

Would also assume better clubs than us, offering more money, would be in for him.

Pog was crying with Dellor after the Derby game. He is as committed as he is to Mother Russia.

Long would get snapped up by half the clubs in the premier league - there's not a chance in hell he would come back to RFC.

Hull

Agreed but thats not half.

Prem teams who are unlikely to buy Long: Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Newcastle, Norwich, Southampton, Swansea, Tottenham, West Brom.

Teams who might buy him: Cardiff, Palace, Fulham, Hull, Stoke, Sunderland, West Ham.

Chances of the three teams being relegated coming from column B? 89%

You could argue Newcastle and Norwich into column B but still not half.
