One8Seven1 Millwall fans as always great value and easy to reel in. Had those mongdivs had any balls about them, we'd all be dead by now with our throats cut, but as always they were quiet as mice when they left the ground. A few chants in the safety of their own fans walking to the buses, but that was it.

RoyalBlue Well that was extremely poor and shows what happens when Guthrie doesn't perform/a team prevents him from performing (although I don't agree with IR view that he was lazy - I thought he worked hard throughout). Too often we reverted to the long ball - it's clearly going to take Adkins a long time to stop the players automatically regressing to that approach when things aren't going well.
And before the Federici lynchmob string him up, it was a mistake by him that cost us today, it was the miss from ALF. 2-0 up and the team would have relaxed a bit more and would probably have reverted to the decent football that has been winning them games. Even had Feds then made a 'mistake' we would have had the cushion of another goal. As it was, he still made a couple of very decent saves (and yes, I know that's his job) to keep us in the game until injury time.
Oh, and whilst IR thinks we should have had a penalty for a hold on Morrison we definitely should have had one for the handball just prior to the shot from Pearce that was really well saved by their keeper.

'Completely outplayed'? The possession stats at the end of the first half were 45:55 in their favour!

LoyalRoyalFan Surprise, Surprise, Adam Federici at fault for yet another goal.
The quicker we get McCarthy back the better.

But they looked as likely to score as me. Zero penetration and threat.

Equally he also made a save from a 1 on 1 that won us a point. McCarthy will cost us goals in the future as well, you can't keep throwing the ball to the opposition striker and expect to get away with it every time. Personally I'd rather a keeper made mistakes trying to stop the ball than make a mistake by needlessly throwing or kicking it to the oppo.
In reality, we should have pushed on after scoring the first goal after 8 minutes and we didn't. If we had done that then the penalty would be a small thing. How about you have a go at Le Fondre for missing from two yards out?
