Yes.
When Adkins starts to value results over "good possession of the football".
Or else with "Nigel: The right decision?"

floyd__streete ^ Yeah LOL, just look at that Championship table as we pull 3 points clear of Leeds with our parachute payments and larger budget
Why can't people accept they were wrong about replacing McD with Adkins with good grace
by floyd__streete » 02 Nov 2013 18:41
Kebe's apprentice Because McD failed in the prem, and Adkins had lost 2 of the last 12 before getting sacked from Saints. Why can't people accept it was the right decision

Because it wasn't. Look how much Saints have improved exponentially since sacking Adkins (a decision which - admittedly - looked crazy at the time).
Kebe's apprentice is an apt username for you; the real Kebe was a useless coward as well

Kebe's apprentice Coward? just because I disagree with you, you call me a coward? Great logic there.
Adkins was on target to stay up, which would have been a good first season back in the premiership.

Rubbishing Brian is cowardly, particularly when simultaneously bigging up Adkins. Adkins regime at Reading has been embarrassing at its worst and bang average at its very best.

Kebe's apprentice To call the Adkins regime embarrassing is just stupid.

[League 1] Peterborough 6-0 Reading [containing several internationals] - embarrassing
[Bottom of the league, winless] Sheffield Wednesday 5-2 Reading - embarrassing
"We want to be Champions.....our aim is 21 clean sheets and 100 goals" - embarrassing
by floyd__streete » 02 Nov 2013 19:01
facaldaqui This is not hindsight, because I said it at the time; but, apart from that win at Fulham, I did not share the view of many that when Adkins came in we improved. We might have improved in style, but not in results; and one thing that worried me from the start was that Adkins's system was looser. I admit that watching Brian's team in the prem was grim, but I found it just as grim once Adkins took over--because losing is grim. I massively enjoyed our promotion season under McDermott, because it involved winning--and don't tell me those wins against West Ham and Southampton weren't entertaining, whether we had half the possession or not.

We had bad results under McD, but you would not call his regime embarrassing would you?

Nothing under McD's 3 years in charge compares with the two thrashing above which Adkins has chalked up in 7 underwhelming months.
