I am surprised how many people like him, because he comes over to me as very irritating. But it does not matter to me whether i like him or not, so long as he manages us well. I am not that impressed with his management so far, but I cannot really complain about fifth place, and good luck to him. I certainly do not want another manager, especially at a time when we need some stability, what with the dodginess behind the scenes.

I like Nigel he is an honest manager. Brian Mac was out of his depth and out of ideas and that really shone in the Premier League. I hope he does well at Leeds and believe he will get them back there... however I doubt he'd keep them there.

Nobody "earns" arrogance. You're either arrogant or you're not and perhaps it is because he is so reminiscent of Rodgers that I can't warm to him. But he needs to stick to working with the team he's able to field, work on defence, etc and not get involved in whether he thinks there were too few away fans at Sheffield.

Give him time. He's having to turn a team of long ballers into a passing team. will need another transfer window or two to get some better technical players in and get the long ballers out.

They're not a team of "long ballers" they were a team who played at a high tempo and mixed it up between short and long passing. Last season because they were struggling they were less keen to play shorter passes because teams who are struggling at the bottom always lack confidence to do that.

As a team we are still lacking in one important requirement that is needed by a "passing" team - MOVEMENT. Very rarely are any of our players in space, because when they don't have the ball they just don't move much. One exception to this is Guthrie.
