I heard he's very close to signing, according to a freshie who works in BP.

Still, Brian doesn't usually lay his cards on the table. I'd be very happy with this signing. This and Sunzu and the window for me has been very positive.

would be a fantastic signing for this level. he is also young and capable of making the step up and desperately fills the attacking creative role we need!

Linked with him before, I think. Would be a great signing at this level, and would finally give us an attacking midfielder in the squad for the first time since Gylfi left...

Despite what was said in the article about players being loaned out I thought I heard on the radio that West Brom's talented young midfielder, George North, has gone on loan to Watford.

VM, the artical says how the younger players might go out on loan and that it's the senior players that Clarke doesn't really see being suitable for or wanting loan deals.

I'd take that with a pinch of salt myself as he also only says he doesn't expect anyone else to want to go on loan. That isn't just him saying he doesn't want to lose anyone from the squad.

I'd love to see Dorrans come to Reading. He'd make an excellent addition IMO.

Wasn't that George Thorne, the player mentioned in the article?

Forest are leading the race to sign him and they are in need of some creativity in their midfield with Reid and Vaughan out....
