What is telling is that none of the Chelsea players were screaming for a penalty when Ramires went down. But, I also have to say that I don't find the decision as scandalous as a lot of people are making out. It is clear that he dived but the speed the game is played at sees decisions like that given pretty regularly. And it was the last minute, which makes it seem even harsher.

Futile for the small teams. They may as well give up. Ruins the sport. Clarke said they'd lost 5 points already this season. We'd lost about that amount by the time McD left. Makes the difference between relegation and survival.

Andre Marriner owed us a few penalties. I remember a couple of stone wallers against Liverpool at home a couple of seasons ago or so, which all the pundits were shocked he failed to award. And they say smaller clubs don't get the decisions.

You have just proved the point Kes. Chelsea, the smaller club, didn't get those decisions.

Not a mention of the two footed potential leg breaking foul on Ivanovic prior to West Brom scoring. Far worse than any so called dive.

In control, not a great deal of power behind it, didn't go over the ball, won the ball and didn't touch the man at all. Surprised it wasn't given on the basis if he'd got it slightly wrong it might have been a bit nasty (like Gunnarsson was - although this was significantly less bad than that). But that's just because ref's blow up for anything like that usually these days, even if its actually a good challenge, like this one was.

Still, it was more of a foul than Reid for the pen. But that's just because that wasn't even remotely a foul.

No mention of Larsson's horror tackle in the Sunderland v City game today? Far worse than going down in the box easily.

Your player cheated to win a pen. He wasn't the first and he won't be the last, But trying to make it seem less controversial by comparing it to bad tackles just makes you look a bit desperate and a little RatLOLled.
