stealthpapes This is 05/06 era, I don't think its Pearce.
I thought it was Doyle as it basically said his form plummeted straight away afterwards - but that could be Shorey, I guess - whereas Hunt did a lot better in that second season.

TBMscumbag I've been a long term reader of The Secret Footballer's online articles and i'm 99% sure it's our bargain that is Dave Kitson.
His second book came out yesterday and i've just been having my first flick through it and i'm quite suspicious over the last part of the chapter 'Charity begins at home' which details an account of a charity created at his club to keep the wives busy (Swings & Smiles?).
The story goes that the club's captain was in his testimonial year yet was being refused one by the chairman due to his opinion that footballer's already earnt enough (familiar?) and it's became clear to many of the players that there were dodgy dealings going on behind the scenes of the charity and he was profiting from it to compensate himself. TSF says this lead to the captain being ostracised and the team fell apart and it can all be pinpointed from this incident.
Just got to this bit....
Who do you think was the player that the club colour run through his veins?
Also, do you think that the player who boarded a rich chairmans boat, who then offered him £30k a week to hand in a transfer request was Doyle or maybe Hunt?

dizzynewheights That was the rumour iirc and the reason why Keane stormed the Reading dressing room after we beat them ( 1-0 last minute/contentious goal or summit ennit )

Ahhhh - makes sense
Said he used to hang around with all the youth team and never really interacted with the first team. And yes Keane kicked off after the game saying we had sold him a coke head............and we made £1m profit on it
Greg Halford practically named and shamed. LOL. He's not even remotely subtle anymore.

Royalcop I'm not sure that a test for recreational drugs is included in many football medicals (though possibly it should). Otherwise you wouldn't end up with situations such as this and Mutu at Chelsea.

Make it essential.
