The relegation is on the CV of Adkins, not McDermott.

They throw insults at vastly superior managers like Coppell and McDermott

LOL explain that one with reference to their records geniusboy.

Championship Titles:

Coppell - 1
McDermott - 1

Adkins - 0

Pretty simple really, although I wouldn't expect you to understand simple football ideals.

Was talking about their history of promotions vs relegations over their managerial careers which is a fairer indication than one season IMO but if you want to get into divisional titles, Adkins has 3, which is more than Coppell and McDermott put together. I wouldn't expect you to understand simple football ideals though.

Even if you split it in half, Adkins still has a far greater aggregate of promotions than relegations, but remind me where we were in the league when Brian was sacked?

Managing a title at Championship level is a lot harder than one at League One, hth.

Oh right, if that's the case and it took Adkins one year to achieve promotion having just come up from the league below, he must be FAR greater than Coppell and McDermott then who each took 3. You're about as bright as a black hole.

Jose Mourinho hasn't got any Championship titles so he can't be as good as Brian either.

Oh, also your mate seems to share my opinions on Adkins:

What's that? Leeds breathing down our neck? The  will be on you when McDermott finishes above us in the table.

Did you see them get dicked 3-1 at Derby when it should've been more or did you see them turn up to our place for us to turn them over playing well below our best? Seriously, stop doing this to yourself.

What, a 97th minute winner in a game where Leeds had MORE possession than us? (because that is the most important thing)

The were BMs players. It was a pretty hopeless position when Adkins joined. Injuries and players not good enough generally we knew we were down by February, decent run or not that we were on.

My bad...

Here's the game before where McDermott's team had less possession and with that, I'm out.

http://www.royals.org/matdoc/081212.html

Oh and one last thing, McDermott has 1 win in his last 5 against Nige with 3 defeats and a solitary win thanks to ALF. Pretty similar to his recent record against that other guy you probably don't like as he likes his teams to keep possession - can't remember his name but he's manager of Liverpool and has also defeated Brian in every one of their 4 meetings. Still, tarra - hope that brick wall you keep banging your head against is sturdy.

So we keep the ball a bit more, we're vastly exposed at the back and we're just a measly point ahead of McDermott. Thrilling to know.

I don't really want to get involved in this...but you are aware that we've conceded the same number of goals as Leeds have right?

Not that I really care, but this obsession with putting down the current Reading manager in favour of the current Leeds manager is most peculiar.

Who's putting Adkins down?

Lovely tan.

If he had a Championship winners medal he'd be able to check out his reflection in it and admire the tan some more.

No different to your obsession with tarnishing the image of a great servant to this football club.
