yep Notts County supporters club is a good spot, went there for the 4-3 game. Pretty close to the Forest ground too. Also met you, Christof, at the Vat and Fiddle. Very close to the station.

always go to a few away games, but no more before Xmas.

very attractive French barmaid on when I was there. All done up in barmaid costume iirc.

That was 2011, mind.

tbh, it's fine as a staging point for the City ground, and nice to say you've been in the Notts County supporters club/had a look at their historic ground, but it's nowhere near as good as a real pub (eg Vat and Fiddle).

ps there is a Hooters on the way to the ground too.

The Navigation in West Bridgeford is a very decent boozer for the real ale fans and has the added advantage of Annie Burger Shack

I'm staying at the Travelodge in the centre and finishing work at 1pm so going to drive up and try to get there for around 4pm.

Planning on going to:

- The Roundhouse
- Ye olde trip to Jerusalem

Maybe the Vat & Fiddle or Notts County depending on time
