Anyone hear Dellor's grovelling interview with Adkins then?

"So Nigel good performance & result - you must be happy with the win?"

So why the hell are you giving him a load of sh1t then Tim?!

If I was Adkins & I heard that commentary back I'd deliberately give him a wide berth or send Crosby out. He is absolutely determined to see him fail. Very sad given he is supposed to be a Reading fan.

He was saying it how he saw it, and many of us agreed with him.

No I'm afraid he wasn't. He is itching to jump on his back every matchday - as soon as something goes wrong he gets his time to shine. He did not do that with Brian.

Take your personal feeling over Brian's sacking out of it & stop being a bell end.

THE END

Yep, he got a bit too angry about it, but his two criticisms of Adkins today were valid.

But why is it personal with Adkins? We are 4th. The season we won the Chump (2nd time) there were some absolutely dire games Hull and Pompey at home spring to mind

It's not personal. I just think his tactics and team selections are generally gash.

Fair play -Tactics today were MUCH better, but he let himself down with the subs again.

To be fair I also had my own fair share of words for Brian when he made similarly poor subs. I remember txting in to BBC Berks one time when Jobi and Legs were seemingly invincible from being subbed despite both playing shite and being absolutely knackered after 80 mins...

For some tedious reason if you criticise Brian, you're "up Nigel's arse". If you criticise Nigel, you're "up Brian's arse".

A shit sub is a shit sub, whether it's Nigel or Brian bringing Blackman on.

Well done to the players who won the match despite the best efforts of their manager.

Dellor was never so vicious in his commentary about Brian. Thinking about it, he wasn't even as bad with Rodgers except that one famous game where Rodgers went loopy. Was it Scunny or Palace? I forget now.

Anyway, I've never heard him as bad as he is now. He quite clearly doesn't like Adkins. By all means do your job & point stuff out that can be improved, but he is pretty much full on attacking the bloke.

I know he isn't the club's mouthpiece but a lot of locals get their RFC news through him & he really needs to grow up a little. He is spreading a lot of negativity about & it really isn't helping.

Especially given we've been top half all season. It's not like we're 23rd FFS.

I've admitted myself it's been mediocre but I'm not waiting for him to trip up. I like Adkins & want him to do well.

Utter lolz at this thread. We were absolutely bang on tonight. Sharp coming on gave us an outlet, no need to diss Nige over that decision and we looked very solid after going down to 10 men.

Fans were gr8, best atmosphere for a long old time.

Danny Williams motm by a oxf*rd mike. What a performance. What a win.

Cureton's Volley Why can't people understand that the result and the manager's performance are two separate things?

Is anyone honestly willing to say they would not have made a change before Nigel the ditherer did?

So when we lose it's everything to do with the manager's performance and when we win it's despite him?!

Time to take over the driving from Mick, Tim!

Funny that, I believe Mick Gooding - who knows something about managing a football team - reckons he got the subs spot on.

In fact it was a sheer act of brilliance to bring Jobi on before Gunter got sent off so that he was up to the speed of the game and ready to drop straight into the left back role!
