genome Just watching Soccer AM (yeah, I know). Garath McCleary and Chris pcunter are on it. McCleary is currently dressed up as Jiminy Cricket.

McCleary is clearly a bit of a big I am. Gunter came across well though.

blog post!

I thought we were made to look good for the first 15, and when they came back into it we needed to up a gear but didn't. Props to Adkins for bringing on McAnuff because he sparked something, but we need to close out these kind of games better. It's not the first time that we've let sides back into it. At the end of the day though 3 points away on a Friday night. Good stuff.

Seen the highlights, surprised at both of Gunters cards

Can get why the second was given but Reid made the most of it minimal contact after Gunter won the header.

But i've never seen a card given for what he did with the first one before.

Two very winnable home games in Charlton and Bournemouth next week.

I make that a cool 9 points in 8 days. 8)

Excellent night out. Good game to watch. Pleased to see that NA has abandoned the horrible fanny football seen at Barnsley - no meaningless passing round the back for the sake of it instead positive go forward football with us getting the ball forward early and long down the channels. Caught Forest cold at the start and they didn't get back into the game until the last 15 of the half and that seemed to be a case of Reading taking their foot off the gas. Start of the second half was a worry as for 25 minutes our midfield just disappeared and we really struggled to keep the ball and this is where the much vaunted passing game was really needed to retain possession it just wasn't there. Third goal for us on the break really stuffed Forest even if at first it looked like Obita was going to miss the chance.

Thought everyone had a decent game which is why the "team" won (my MOTM was McCarthy made some good saves when it counted). Only gripe of the night (apart from Nottingham traffic) were Gunter's bookings. The referee did not appear to be going to do anything for the first one until 3 Forest players led by Cox got in his face protesting then he takes out a yellow. Same thing for the second yellow which at best was an accidental coming together (even that was a generous assessment), ref does nothing then 3 or 4 Forest players led by Reid crowd the referee and hey presto it's a red.

Made up in every way for the long trip to Blackburn - hopefully we will now try to get forward and dominate teams instead of letting them play themselves into games.

Watched the highlights there, Gunters second card was an odd one.. Seemed unnecessary to give him a second yellow for it.. We really are weak down the flanks, even when we had Bridge on the left we were still weak most the goals that come against us seem to originate down the wings

Its a shame it can't be appealed but neither were worthy of a yellow, the ref bottled it

regarding you comment above I think you should know the guy first before you say things like that
From what I know and have seen he likes to engage with the fans and be involved in charity events.
That doesn't suggest to me someone is a 'BIG I am'.
No need

The comment applies whether you're fishing or serious.

Just watched the highlights. Seriously atrocious referring. Neither yellows in the slightest and he was bullied into sending a player off for no reason. That's two games in a row with decisions from refs that should see them suspended.

Great run from McCleary for the first, should have hit the target with the chance HRK put him through with but no harm done in the end. Thougth HRK showed some very good touches and link up in that first 30 seconds of highlights. Obita got a bit lucky, but he made it count.

If he rescinded the yellow I'll settle for it. If he didn't he can oxf*rd right off.

Burnley 2-0 down - QPR drawing. Hopefully we'll start to close that gap if we push on from this win.

Leeds & Watford (not that they matter that much at the moment) are both losing too. Good day.
