QPR concede in the last minute - losing 2-1.

Gained three points on QPR, Burnley, Forest, Leeds and Watford. Excellent weekend, although the fact we're still 7 adrift of the autos says a lot about our very indifferent form of late.

Great results eh! Wigan should be able to help us by beating Derby too

How did Watford lose 3-0?? 65% possession, 27 shots (though only 2 on target), 15 corners. Tika-taka football - better in the Prem than the Chump

Draw might be the best result. A Wigan win would put them 3 points behind us, with a game in hand.

Out of interest, where did Robson-Kanu play? Was he central? Right up top alongside Pogrebnyak or a bit deeper?

Played just off Pog, roamed about a fair bit though, often popping up on either wing. Did well first 30 when we were on top, but went missing after that.

Like the formation but Kanu not doing it for me in that position. Rather see Mcanuff.

Great result tbf. I'm not Adkin's biggest fan by a long chalk but fair play to him for realising that his tippy-tappy possession based football doesn't reap rewards in this division and using the tried and tested BMac recipe for success.

Now let's see if we can capitalise against Chalton...

Only problem with that is Jobi is not exactly known for his goalscoring, so we look a little more light up top again. HRK's got some work to do to ensure his place though. I'd guess we'll go with Sharp or ALF instead of him on Tuesday.

Adkins doesn't believe in 'tippy-tappy' possession football, he believes in exactly the type of football we played last night. Winning football. That's why he's been successful at every club he's been at. It was a good performance that was a real hybrid between quick passing football, and counter attacking when the opportunity was there.

Adkins' teams have been playing that way long before most of this fanbase even knew who Brian McDermott was. And it was no different to the way we've been trying to play all season. Last night it was just implemented far better than in previous games.
