I realise that with all this ber8ing of Church, he's bound to score in the 2nd half. Off his arse or deflected shot falls to him in the 6 yard box.

brighton_royal Does everyone else's Reading player sound like the commentators are using kazoos instead of microphones?

What a load of annoying bollox.

Haven't listened to them for a while, had forgotten just how awful Dellor is at actually describing what the fcuk is going on in the game, rather than inanely garbling away with Gooding.

Turned them off after 20 minutes and stuck to watching the BBC text commentary. Has far more description and imagery.

One of the things that I though typified our PL struggles was everyone looked so much stronger than us. We're doing that to Charlton tonight. Especially Pog.

Not quite there. We're not getting behind them enough and the few times we've got close there haven't been good balls in or there havent been men in the box. Bit sloppy at times but eazily the better side. 1-0 is never safe though. It only takes one blunder or wonder strike and we've been done over that way before.

Another goal to settle the game for us would be lovely stuff. Note on sharp. Good goal, not sure he's done a great deal more than I've seen from Alf but fine with him playing if he scores!

McAnuff not up to speed yet but working hard. Certainly not having a bad games. Cummings ok too.

Happy enough so far.

Second half hattrick for Church. One off each arse cheek and the other hits him in the back of the head when he isn't looking and loops over McCarthy.

I think we are like West Ham the season we went up. Frustrating, boring but seemingly grinding out the results
