Yeah, I concede that finishing 2nd in a two horse race doesn't really equate to success but the general opinion in Spain is that Mourinho is a bit of (ok, a lot of) a dick who believes his own hype just a little too much. As for Italy, even Inter fans hate him.

Yep, the only people who liked him in Spain were the Ultras Sur and that was only because they identified with him because nobody likes them either.

Jeez kes, whichever way you look at it you let in 3 goals from Sunderland. That's bad

When Chelsea ultimately win the league by a point or two, those three points are going to look pretty good.

 And if they lose the league on goal difference, those three conceded goals are going to look pretty bad.

In a season where United draw at Cardiff, City lose at Cardiff and Liverpool lose at Hull, any away win is a good result.

I'm as anti-Chelsea as the next but I cant see what you're getting at here. Chelsea are near the top without relying on one main goalscorer. Good on them?

Friend of mine who is an Everton fan reckons their web forums are alive with talk that Lukaku's loan to them has a clause in it stating if they finish top 4 then he can join them permanently

it's the internet so probably not true

Why would Chelsea agree to that clause? Makes no sense.

Yeh, it's effectively saying if he does really well you can buy him, but if he's shit we'll have him back.

it's on the internet so probably not true but could have been part of a negotiation over wages or a loan fee paid maybe.

i have always suspected (though have nothing to back it up) that there are all sorts or weird and wonderful clauses in transfer or loan deals
