floyd__streete NigeLOL Adkins being heavily backed for the Wigan job. Comparible size club but with steady, settled ownership, larger budget at a club he played for for many years.

Pompey may have a say in that if their fans are right (or just wishful). I really hope he doesn't go there.

NA ain't going anywhere until our new owners turn up from somewhere waving bags of money and decide he isn't "name" enough for us.

Now, as you all know I'm as big an NA fans as any on here...but this quote from the OS interview had me cringing, face-palming, and gagging in equal measure.

We had a couple of good recovery sessions and we go into the game full of passion and love for the game

Can a manager be sacked for his team regularly producing dire performances and yet hardly losing?

Jeez, where do you get the time to respond all the time? There's more to life than spending it on here.

See you in a few days again.

Isn't that what happened to Lee Clark at Huddersfield a couple of seasons ago? Sacked when in the play offs (they got promoted) after getting them to the play-off's in the previous 2 campaigns and having an unbeaten (regular season) league record of 40 odd matches?

From what i recall, the issue with Clark is that he had been given oodles of cash to spend on players and was expected to walk the league.

I have been a supporter of Adkins but I'm starting to lose patience.

Strange selections and shit results. He simply should be doing better with the players he has available even with the injuries.

I agree that our style of play needs to evolve but there is just no sign of it.

Painful.
