Royal Rother They weren't exactly hanging on at any stage though were they. Always in control.

The red card and 2nd goal were pretty much irrelevant because they'd already done the job.

I understand your point RR, but if Kes wrote something similar after a Chelsea loss, he would have a lot of derision to contend with.

It just highlights the sickening level of abuse that poor man has to put up with on here.

Semantics.

Did it EVER, at any stage òf the game, look like Arsenal we're going to lose 3-0?

No.

So were they ever "so very close to fcuk ing that one up" as you said?

No.

That has the distinct look of fact rather than semantics.

You'll be pleased to know I'm done now. :D

Arsenal fully in control again today. At NO STAGE did they look like conceding a seventh goal.

LOL

You may or may not prove to be right, but that's a stupid offer to be making, and one that I'd happily take you up on...

I stake £50 with you at evens that Arsenal won't win the league

I stake £50 with Paddy Power at 7/2 that Arsenal do win the league

Arsenal don't win = I'm level overall

Arsenal do win = I'm £125 up overall

Basically mate, just go to a bookies

Anyway, that was a cracking game. Thought Arsenal were a bit unlucky, could easily have had a penalty when the score was 3-2 (or maybe it was at 3-1, hard to keep up) and some tight offside calls. That said, they looked a *bit* shaky defending...

The handball? No, never. Walcott got his second pretty soon after - good goal that.

Silva's goal (#4) was very nicely taken.

Thought it looked like a pretty good shout for handball to be honest. Also unlucky with a very tight call for Giroud offside.

Could easily have been 10-6!

It bounced off his thigh on to his arm.

How could that ever be "handles the ball deliberately"?

MOTD suggests that Wilshire was flicking the Vs during the game at the fans, and Ozil was given a hard time by his teammates for applauding the Arsenal fans after the game.

You're more likely to be right than me, I didn't catch the commentary in full.

I've only seen it once, but it looked a little to me like one of those occasions when you try and get your knee up to it and position your arm as a back up in case you can't get there.

He had plenty of time to be trying to get his knee to it and made no effort to get his arm out of the way, that's why I say it. It's not like it was going nowhere near his arm until it hit his knee, it just would have hit a different part of his arm.

I'd say that a player who deliberately doesn't move his arm out of the way is deliberately using his arm, even if there's no hand towards ball motion.

ArsenaLOL rattLOLed at conceding 6. Wilshere gives the fans the middle finger and Ozil snubs the fans at FT causing an argument with team mates

City dominated despite being overly casual at times. The game is up Wenger, the only way is dowwwwwwwwwwwn

Hardly an unexpected reverse. Pretty stiff ask for 12.45 ko after playing in Napoli on Wednesday, and Man City are rather useful at home.

Even defeat against Chelsea next week wouldn't mean they have blown it as they have proved to be so much better than their challengers against the lesser teams and after all, you can't get more than 3 points for a victory, whoever the opposition.

Very exciting game. Woeful defending. Giroud was dire, even Bendtner looked better.
