He sure pissed me off today with his ineptitude for the opening goal.

Why was Gorkks even having to tackle outside McCarthys left post.....surely Pearce should be covering that?
Telling that when we dropped to 3 at the back it was Pearce that came off, I thought Gorkks had a good game today, seems to be getting better....

Gorkss was once more the architect of aimless hoof forward after aimless hoof forward. Pearce obviously at fault for a goal but gorkss was anything but good today.

If there is one thing today proves, it is to not fanny about with it in our own half. Defence need to get rid quicker. Gorkks was as good as the rest of them today *bar Pog*

Disagree. Gorkss was fantastic in the air and was very comfortable in possession.

Agreed, then Gorkks back off 20 yards, then dived in needlessly for one of his ott blocks when all could have been avoided if he'd just stood his ground and made an attempt to close the player down when we originally lost the ball. Happened countless times this year and some of us remember why he ended up struggling to get into a relegated Wolves side.

Absolutely. Gorkss provided a badly needed attacking outlet with some gr8 balls forward. I need to see the goals again b4 I comment further, but other than that I thought he was solid today. One of our better players. Great look as well. Rocking the roguish fisherman.

As Pearce could be seen clearly pointing out, the players responsible for us conceding the opening goal were our midfielders who failed to track their player who was breaking forward through the centre. The defenders did their jobs OK, although the same couldn't be said for the second!

Thought we were more solid at the back with Gorks doing it all on his own!

One at the back with Gorkss - definitely the way to go in future against teams playing one up front (did Wigan actually have a centre forward or were they playing the 4-6-0 Scotland formation?)
