Have it on good authority from the mouth of an ex player that we have finacial problems and the players have been left waiting for their wages.

Was this a reminisce with Steve Moran about the good old days of 25 years ago?

Don't worry folks I'll be in the hotel over Christmas so if I see any shifty looking fellows flashing around their huge wads I'll be sure to let you know.

Oil magnate

Steel magnate

Retail magnate.

Carrot magnate

I know which I would prefer at the moment, we could be sponsored by Bartletts, carrots to the Royals.

Well whatever is going on, it's clearly affecting the players and Adkins' management style.

Gloop was just a glutton

He's more like a male version of Veruca Salt I think

Given the propensity for new owners to sack managers shortly after arrival (and the shocking football we're currently playing), do we think Nige could be for the Spanish Archer as soon as a new investor has been sorted out?

Depends if new owner knows much about football I suppose. Or is another Vincent Tan and just wants to throw his weight around and bring in "his own man" so to speak.

Even if you ignore Tan's kit changes and antics off-field, although they've spent big this season, it's all loans at 7% interest. I wouldn't want any new owner here spending big to appease the fans only for it to backfire in a few years when he wants that money back, or we can't keep up with the repayments and do a Portsmouth. Foreign ownership terrifies me, but sadly it's the world we find ourselves in now. Zingarevich isn't as honest as some hoped either. The sooner he's out of the club the better.

Ooof

And when asked if Zingarevich would remain as owner for the foreseeable future, Royals’ chairman said: “It all depends on circumstances.

“Anton is still the owner as such.

“He’s has been very loyal to Reading.

“I don’t think people appreciate how much he has invested in the club.”

Madejski did add, however, he had no idea if Zingarevich would ever return to Reading.

“You’ll have to talk to Anton about that, he doesn’t tell me his diary,” he said.

“I don’t know when he’s coming back to tell you the truth."

"Ownership issues" LOL

Are we going to get an apology from the handful of sycophants on here who aggressively defended the TSI regime in the face of all indications leading towards the negative in this calendar year :?:

No, I expect we won't.

This thread should go back to the Team Board

After all it's clearly not UR&G any more

I have always been in the "jury out" group re TSI as there was no way of knowing if the takeover was going to be good or bad for RFC.

But I have to say that AZ's intentions are mystifying. I don't see how he has managed to fleece the club of money as the board would not allow this. There might be good reasons for his change of heart - we just don't know - but clearly he wants out.

This is the problem with foreign ownership and there is no guarantee that the next lot will be any better. Personally I was relatively happy with JM and his cloth cutting ways - but it would be nice to have genuinely rich owners who wanted to take the club forward. Perhaps Father Christmas can sort that one out for us.

Is this a lyric from the bonus 'alternative chorus' of Billie Jean on the DVD extras :?:
