IF that is the case then the board need to man up & let him get his players in. Quite frankly a huge overhaul of the first 11 wouldn't bother me. It's long overdue.

Yes he did lose the ball but presumably your selective hearing/McAnuff hatred kicked in before you heard Gooding focus his criticism on McAnuff's teammates who completely failed to close Leadbitter down and allowed him to take the shot. All players, particularly attacking midfielders and strikers lose the ball, that's why you have a defence. I suspect that if the McAnuff haters took off the blinkers and looked at all of the stats, McAnuff is not one of the players who loses possession most.

Our real problem is lack of any movement, let alone imaginative/creative movement, off the ball. Nowhere is this more obvious than at throw ins, freekicks and corners.
