I'd be a bit worried if he wasn't given he's a defender...shame he can't actually time one though.
As opposed to a midfield that can't close down, find space or create chances. And generally slows down attacking play to a snail's pace when it gets the ball and seems incapable of putting the ball in the box from either wing or down the middle.
