So after saying he'd field his strongest side in the cup on Wednesday he promptly doesn't....

Think it's a 4-3-3 based on the players.

Or a 4-5-1

Will be very surprised if that is a 4-4-2

Happy enough with that side. Taylor did well when he came on and impressed in pre-season. He linked midfield with attack very well, and we're crying out for that. Not happy with Kelly coming in, but otherwise why not?

Fully expecting McCarthy to go this month, so giving Feds a game not such a bad idea.

Also, don't think it's really that weak a side.

Inexperienced though, pleased Tanner is on the bench. He's quality for the U21's so deserves a chance

I don't think that is Brighton's strongest 11 either is it?

They're missing three first-teamers with knocks, which is nice.

the only match that is on tv for me today is leeds vs rochdale. :|

i guess it will be fun to watch a BM managed team again, even if it is dirty leeds.

Yeh that's the game I'll be watching while listening to the radio, then it's Arsenal Tottenham!

i tried finding the arsenal/tottenham game on tv but i couldnt! i was very surprised.

they said Brian McDermott the former reading manager when they introduced his leeds starting lineup. also he is playing a 3-5-2  i would have never thought i would see BM use a formation like that!

I think it is too. Quite an attacking team from the looks of it.

It may be, but that just looks so weak to me.

Would be better with Guthrie Obita and Taylor working together as a central three. Mclearly and Blackman as a two either side of Le Fondre.

well have to wait till the match starts to find out for sure. with blackman being a winger/striker it could be either formation.

4-5-1 (4-2-3-1) me thinks. Obita probably playing centrally behind the striker. Think Nigel's done that before??

Big chance for Blackman today. He needs to build on Wednesday. Akpan must be off.

Praying that neither of our CBs get injured.
