I'll give you a clue, they are still there whereas the team that played 'The Reading Way' and got to the PL on workrate, commitment, team spirit etc. came straight back down.

jellytot I am not sure what to say here. Whether it is better that NA goes or stays on. I personally like his ideas to pass the ball... the BIG FAT STINKING problem is that our players do not get it. NOW they are not playing for him. You can see it on the pitch.
Either NA changes his style (cannot see that)
The players adapt and start doing their jobs.
NA sells 5 or 6 and gets 4 or 5 in. Players that can play his game. Get out players who are too thick or just cannot pass it.
Is there a problem at the club? Rogers tried to get a passing game going following Coppels more direct style and was fired, NA is trying to get a passing game going following McD's hoof ball style. What do we do?
1)Do we let NA and co leave (if there were an approach from WBA) ?
2) Do we keep the management team (and following a takeover) splash the cash and get in a few as well as booting out some of the lazy gits?
3) Fire NA and co in a few weeks and return to some direct whack it style?
4) A final option is the takeover does not go through, NA resigns and we then have to struggle to get 50 points or so to stay up. We may need 60 or so if we went into administration.
I think there are just too many problems at the club at board level, on the pitch and in the stands. No one is really standing together. January is surely the BIG month. I prefer option 2.

Ian Royal I'd be very disappointed to see Adkins leave. It's not going great, but it's hardly a total shambles and I firmly believe managers should be given at least a full season to show what they can do, preferably with another three or four months the next season too. Sometimes quick decisions have to be made when the club's in danger of dropping a tier (Rodgers), but that should be the exception.
Look at Coppell for example. We were one of the favourites when he took over and we had a pathetic capitulation over Xmas and slumped out of the play offs. It took him three seasons to finish in the top six, but he really delivered in the end.
You can't expect success constantly and instantly. Sometimes things will be a bit shit. But as long as the situation is comfortably recoverable, there's always next season. The margins at this level between 9th and 1st are very slim season to season.
But, if Adkins got offered the West Brom job, there'd have to be something funky going on for him to turn it down.
