genome Off topic but these comments by Brian were interesting... apparently being knocked out by Rochdale in the cup was worse than our play off final and 5-7 defeat to Arsenal

Yes Brian, we believe you.

Doesn't look like he's playing, and Leeds are losing 2-0

If ever you needed proof Kebe's best days are behind him, the Shed Wed game is it. He looks a little one paced so far and has either gone down or whinged every time an opposition player had gone anywhere near him. No loss at all.

Leeds' defence looks utterly dreadful, BTW. Full of holes.

I thought when he was put through on the right he wasn't at full pace and Kirkland got there first easily. The old Kebe would have got there a lot quicker.

I can only guess he is worried about his hamstrings a little still and doesn't want to break down on his debut.

45:00 Substitution, Leeds United. Matt Smith replaces Tom Lees.

45:51 Foul by Matt Smith (Leeds United).

Dismissal Matt Smith (Leeds United) is shown the red card for a bad foul.

Reading4eva I wish Brian was here still, so Jimmy would come back. Instead we are lumbered with Orange tan man who doesn't have a clue

Just thought I'd quote this. For posterity.

kebe's one of those players wth legs almost as delicate as a horse. I doubt he's particularly hard working in training.

Much like Kitson, I get the feeling the accumulation of injuries and strains to those matchsticks and his questionable recovery powers means he's getting closer and closer to the knackers yard.

Fantastic player at the height of his powers though.

Wednesday Fan Best bit was Reda tackle on Kebe. let's say Kebe decided he would hide after that. Honestly never saw him again must have worn a grass suit and laid motionless for game.

Sounds familiar.

Getting an absolute pasting by Leeds fans this morning. Seems he's lost all of his pace.

And we got a decent fee for him...another triumph for Nick(y) Hammond

Who really should've been used more last season too. He seems a little streaky, but he's certainly in really hot run of form right now.

Although I was never a bif fan, it's still a bit sad to see a player like Kebe seem to fall apart so drastically.

9/10 times wingers will be streaky m8 - I can't remember the last time a winger won Player of the season for us, for instance?

I just think his injuries have taken their toll tbh. His speed over the ground last season was notably down on what we were seeing a couple of seasons ago, and having seen him play a couple of times this season that downward trend has not been reversed.

Given that he always relied on his pace when it came to beating his man it's no surprise that now he's lost it he's struggling to make any kind of impact on games.

Alright smarty pants

If we were to expand that over the last 20 years though - how many Player of the season awards tend to go to wingers?
