Tony Le Mesmer 13 years at Reading Football Club and the 2nd most successful manager we have ever had.

And you bunch of cunts are queuing up to laugh at him.

Fuck off the lot of you.

It's not me laughing at him, it's me laughing at the plums on here who have been belittling our situation after the sacking of him. 'At least he never lost 6-0 to such and such'.....well, he has now! Move on.

I'm not willing him to do badly at all. But at least this shows he isn't the master of the championship as some on here would have you believe.

I do find it boring that this thread is dragged up at every opportunity. If Adkins gets more of his own types of players I'm very confident his achievements in terms of results & style of play will outweigh McD's.

In the interest of balance, we have also lost 6-0 this season, to a League 1 team.

So clearly Brian >> Nigel

Very true Pepe

If results like this make Reading fans stop hankering for the past & show Adkins a bit more patience then that's not a bad thing.

Leeds fans seem to be questioning our Brian's tactical nous. Some also seem to be unhappy with the style of play and commenting that the team can't string four passes together.

Poor Brian!

He must be a bit rattled after such a poor run... I hope he's still in charge for our visit to Elland Road.

Laughing more at the idiots wanting him back and think he'd improve us - he wouldn't! He did well here and we'll always be fond of him, but he was limited, he hasn't adapted his game, and it's starting to bite him at Leeds. He should have learnt a lot last season. In fact in many ways it should have been the making of him, as he looked to be a decent manager in the making. But he's the same coach he was pre-promotion despite claiming to have learnt a lot from last season. You cannot ignore that we were very fortunate to win promotion with the style of football we played under him and it would always be very unlikely to have 'that luck' again.

Anyway:

Just because McDermott is a nice bloke doesn't mean he's beyond reproach, we are going backwards again under him #lufc #mot

I know. Unbelievable. I hope Jimmy hasn't unpacked yet as he might not be staying in the independent republic of Yorkshire too long.

Getting fed up with this now.

The fact is Brian was great for us and should not have been sacked, but he is not coming back and so laughing at him because Leeds have had a few bad games is ridiculous.

Again the fact is that based on respective squads Leeds are outperforming this season, whereas Reading are under performing so far (although injuries are playing a huge part in that) .

People are not laughing at Brian. They are laughing at the Big Mac fan club who unlike Brian cannot move on.

Back the current manager and team.

Poor Bri :-( can't see him lasting long up there

Sir Jimmy only lasted 66 mins before being taken off, dunno if that was injury or if he was just being Sir Jimmy and having a bad game(which is 7 times out of 10 roughly)

Precisely. Personally I'd like to see Bri have a long and successful career, although I dislike Leeds enough to hope that he doesn't do better than Ok there. This is all about pointing out to the hard of thinking who think he's beyond reproach and would have either kept us up or have us in the top 4 that they're clueless.

You can't expect people who support the current set up to just sit back and not take the opportunity to fire a few salvos back at people who revive this on the brief occasion Leeds are above us in an dismal attempt to show McDermott shouldn't have been sacked and Adkins is crap and should be sacked.
