Come on URZ!!

Playing Watford is a good omen. It's the one time we played well so perhaps its fate that today just might be the day we get going...

(We can but hope)

Expecting a loss, we need signings or some good news on the injury front to stop this rot.

What is it with our training methods?! Never known so many injuries occurring in non-match situations. Would appear Karl Halabi's removal has not been an unqualified success, (how's that for diplomacy!!).

Kakpan in for Guthrie ?? Will that help speed up our passing? Unlikely, but hopefully he feels he has a point to prove, and will play a blinder. At least we're not starting with both him and Blackman.

We really do need a spark from somewhere, just can't see it sadly.

Anyway, new day, new game, eternally optimistic before the 90 mins starts, no doubt be miserable as sin come 4:50!!

URZZZZ.

Hoping he does the Ledge job today freeing up Williams a bit to drive forward.

"On paper this looks like a perfect opportunity for Royals to notch up a much-needed win.
The Hornets have been in miserable form as of late, winning just one of their last 13 matches."

from the Chronic - sadly these are exactly the games we roll over and let the oppo walk away with a much needed confidence boosting win. Sheff W prime example. See they did BMcD for 6 early today!

Mad old division this year.

Team from Chronic as just noticed it';s not been posted yet.

Reading: McCarthy, Gunter, Gorkss, Pearce, Williams, Obita, Akpan, McAnuff (C), McCleary, Pogrebnyak, Le Fondre
Subs: Federici, Kelly, Cummings, Hector, Drenthe, J Taylor, Blackman

Really hoping Hector gets some game time.

Sponsored by 0-0 draws? What, all 6 of them in 113 Watford v Reading matches in all competitions?

Gonna get rolled today, I simply cannot see us getting anything from this game. Looks like a back three unless Obita plays at the back making it a four, not that it matters.

well see if we can attack with more conviction today since everything wont go through guthrie which slows the game down.

Got to get in their half first!!
Good point about Guthrie though. I assume Akpan will cover the back four and Williams will be more advanced...

Well OS/Chronic suggest Obita at left back in a 4-4-2, but Sporting Life have us 3-5-2 v Watford's 3-5-2. Teach us not to go to the game! Hopefully a hardened traveller will provide confirmation one way or the other.

I remember three of them in a row recently. Turns out it was less recent than I thought.
