Not necessarily. Being injured won't mean you automatically fail a medical. Medicals will be as much about your overall fitness and underlying potentially serious injury issues than whether you're actually fit to play a match currently.

Not necessarily. Being injured won't mean you automatically fail a medical. Medicals will be as much about your overall fitness and underlying potentially serious injury issues than whether you're actually fit to play a match currently.

Medicals are more about long-term injury, not short-term things like a hamstring or muscle injury. Forest will match it almost certainly, and then it's the players decision.

Also interestingly Forest confirmed on their website when they signed a loan deal for him that had had also agreed a two year contract with them that will start this summer. Obviously he can't have signed it because pre-contracts can only be signed on international transfers, but I think that shows what his intentions are....

Bruce said they wanted him on a free, so I assume he was out of contract in the summer. Our "substantial offer" will be unwelcome for them, but they have wealthy new owners, I can't see them not matching it.

If nothing else, Bruce now owes us one for tapping the price up.
