What has the world come to when you can't even play a bit of Kes bingo without abuse?

Toon Toon Blue army
MmmMonsterMunch Why doesn't the club come to an arrangement where they continue to pay him weekly etc but on the understanding that he fcuks off now? He's not exactly a Murty type character that has done a lot for the club.

Don't hate the guy or anything but given this is a season of transition that squad number could be used for one of the youth players instead.

He's pretty influential around the training ground every day. And believe me thats a big part of the day in/day out running of a club. If someone is well liked and brings a positive vibe to the training ground, they are pretty valuable. The club probably won't mind as much that they are are paying him a load of cash to go to the gym everyday.

I think this is really the point. The club are screwed contractually so they need to take what positives they can out the situation. It may also suit Roberts if he decides to take his coaching badges or just be a positive influence around training and rehab.

They'd only really need to pay him off if he became a bad or depressing influence, which given his character I really can't see.

I don't doubt it.

Shame you don't no (sic) a tad more about the usage of English language though, then perhaps you wouldn't come across as such an utter, utter mong.

No Fixed Abode He won't play for Reading again. Hip op or replacement is needed.

Said this months and months ago - he's got the same injury as me and there's just no way he'll make it back.

We've known that all season so the latest interview isn't really news.

His tweets just now sound like his farewell.

He may be a nob but he did a lot of good for our club and you can't deny his signing was a big help to us winning the league.

On the pitch he was a pro

Agreed - if he's in the process of leaving us then I'll always remember a player who took us to the next level and will forget his off the pitch persona/tweets (I unfollowed him aaages ago)
