I called up the ticket office today and we have sold approx. 750 tickets so far

If you were gonna wait till payday to get a ticket, but don't want to risk them selling out, then it's probably worth giving them a call to find out how many are left.

First allocation is something just over a 1000 . I presume we will take a larger one if we sell out the 1000 tickets
