how can you be 25 and not as fit as a professional footballer needs to be? at that sort of age he should be able to get through 2 games a week all season.

I think its a mental thing, rather than a physical thing....

I'm sure he can run around for 90mins no problem - but its having to think at such a high level/pace for 90mins that tires him

Players have their own natural fitness levels and basic physical capabilities. Don't forget he didn't have a pre-season here but in Madrid where they probably base their pre-season on different requirements.

I doubt he's used to the intensity of every game though and so having to be 'at it' for 90 minutes every week is quite new to him.

As for his impact, I think he was excellent when he first signed and looked really good. His performances have plateaued off a bit, IMO, but he's obviously a class act who should come good in the long run. I think he's living off the hype of his first 5 or 6 games though.

Will drop to 3rd tomorrow night.

That'll be where they will end up I think. Can't see them winning more than Cheksea or City

Wenger said in a press conference that the other club will pay Kallstrom's wages while he's out as he was injured at the time of the deal.

Which makes a little more sense.
