Pepe the Horseman Erm, when Tyson came on, I wondered if he played with Gunts and McCleary at Forest. I then thought to myself 'Why are Forest and Watford playing on Thursday?'.

Similar to me.

I was at the game and my mate said that Alfie was offside for his first goal. I said he must be f/cking blind. He said blind people are extra-eager in bed, sort of to compensate for being a bit "spakker" like. I said that it was impossible for him to compare as he had never slept with anyone who isn't blind, because he is a f/cking fat ugly sock of sperm. He said he gets his socks from Marks & Spencer. I said that's because he only ever goes to shops with food in it. He said I don't eat enough and that's why it looks like I am dying of AIDS. I said I look like I'm dying of AIDS because I am dying of AIDS. He said AIDS sex was the best offer I had on the table, so I shouldn't complain. I said the guilt of f/cking his mum spoilt the memory. He said it was kinda sad thinking the best date of my life so far was getting AIDS off a 67 year old female Geoff Capes. I said all his dates ended up with him burying a bin-liner of clothes in a forest. He said Forest play Watford on Thursday. I said "why are Forest and Watford playing on Thursday?"

 I think I sit next to you.

Don't be silly, your mums 63.

Correct. If you're rating her attractiveness out of 63.

maffff
Vision I'm pretty sure that Obita's solid progression as a left back would not have been so successful (thus far) with someone other than McAnuff ahead of him.

Some real class moments of encouragement from Jobi for Jordan too.

But he's a crap captain because he never openly shouts. Apparently.

lardydah Thought the whole team were brilliant last night, as previously said like how all of the little partnerships are forming up all over the park.

If we carry on at this rate at home, we might even make it to Adkins ridiculous pre-season 100 goals target!

It has taken nearly a year but Adkins now realises that a settled side often plays better together and changes don't have to be made every week even if we lose one game.
He also knows that there will be no other options for the rest of the season and we have to go with what we have got.
Last night was like watching a Coppell team pressing all over the pitch and great to see the unselfishness of Mc Cleary (again) in setting up Alf and likewise Alf when setting up Pog-a shame that Jobi got greedy.

I'm not with the Jobi love-in partly because of the greediness in not squaring the ball to Alf and partly for being greedy in midfield, losing possession for them to score.
.

OMG! The Jobi haters really are getting desperate now!

For f*cks sake, he lost the ball inside the Blackpool half. Two of our defenders were goalside of their player who was on his own, and another of our players was closing on him. The guy then produced an absolute superb strike to score. Yet despite all of that, the goal is the fault of Jobi! I'm afraid that logic borders on the moronic.

How long until Jobi is blamed for a goal conceded when an opposing keeper makes a great save to deny him a goal and our opponents break forward at pace to score a goal on the counter?

Not sure why you are getting so arsey.
Jobi tried what he often does ,i.e. trying to beat one man too many in a midfield area-he lost the ball and they scored.
Once again being greedy he didn't square the ball for Alf to score.

You seem to have childishly over reacted to those comments and come out with tosh about "Jobi-haters".
I'm not a Jobi-hater and happen to think that he has done a good job since coming back into the side and is a much better option than Kanu or Blackman out wide.
Whereas it generally doesn't cost us when he loses the ball out wide it does cost us when he comes inside and this is far from the first time this season when he and others have been caught out in that area just inside our half.

He wasn't caught in possession in our half.
And as I've already mentioned McCleary was caught in possession on his side of the pitch 5 minutes earlier, with Blackpool gaining the ball in a far better position, as Gunter was already 20 yards further ahead.

Is it really that greedy to shoot in this position when your team is comfortably 2-0 up?

Didn't it deflect off the defender anyway?

Irrelevant.
Offside ruling is made from when McCleary kicked it.

The highlight for me was in the second half. Think we were already 4-1 at the time and Gunter - like a man possessed - legged it out of nowhere on the overlap to McCleary deep into their half. GMac lost the ball and although Gunter predictably canted his head in annoyance, then proceded to immediately leg it all the way back in lightning speed to get back behind the ball.

Impressive.

The answer is Yes when you never score goals and the player square of you is the best finisher in this division.

Aside from the entertainment of the game itself, the other highlights for me were the 'Anton, Anton give us a wave' chant that led in to quite a vociferous rendition of 'One John Madejski'. Personally I think he would have been quite moved by that show of support. We may have a majority share holding Russian who remains invisible, however we've also got a John lad who deserves all the plaudits he gets.

Another source of amusement was the steward who looked like a shorter version of Jason Roberts. As you can imagine he ended up getting some jib from the lads - what a surprise. To the extent that even he was chuckling away in his luminous jacket

Jobi is not as greedy as this...
THE GREEDY GOALSCORER

"How is it possible for a player to score two goals in a match without anyone else touching the ball in between?" asked Mad Dan Eccles.

Many of you wrote in to explain to the insane Mr Eccles that this feat can be achieved by first scoring an own goal and then shooting and scoring directly from the resulting kick-off.

Some readers also pointed out that if this second goal was the last kick of the first half, and the scorer's team was due to restart the second period, a third could be scored without another soul touching the hallowed sphere.

No, but the smart money is to play the percentage ball to a player with an open goal tap-in, as McCleary did against Bolton.

Gunter had every right to get a bit pissed off last night as I can't remember one time when McCleary actually gave him the ball after he'd gone on the overlap

It is when the best finisher at the club is pointing to where he would like the ball,
If he passes to LeFondre its a goal, If Mcanuff shoots he must know himself deep down that with his record of scoring that it's probably not going in.

And surely he wanted that monkey off his back. Most players would have shot in that situation. At least he was decisive, that's been his real problem over the last few seasons.

Lol Nitpicking on McCleary again. One would think McCleary never feeds Gunter on the overlap. They link up well on the right. Get over it

WestRoyal Ain't they meant to be good together on the right

Fair point, but I'm more concerned about how they perform on the pitch :D
