WAZZOCK Sure, well if that's the case then there really is very little reason to dislike the bloke.

Arrogance? Show me a footballer that isn't arrogant, and I'll show you a patron saint.

Look, if you liked him that's fine. But don't try and tell people who didn't they're wrong when you clearly haven't a clue why they didn't, even after its been explained at length.

Loyal royal 247 Does legiwood count

No. For two main reasons.
1) We've never had a player called Legiwood
2) Leigertwood is a current player.

wally bassoon
Pepe the Horseman Joey Beuchamp?

That was him, signed for West Sham, did not like the traveling, had to be sold straight away, went to Swindon and the ended up back at the Pox.

For the above reasons, he could be my most hated player of all time, ticks most of the right boxes.

Turned up to his first training session at Swindon in that season's Oxford kit.

Didn't David Unsworth leave Everton for Aston Villa and then request a transfer back 2 days later because he didn't realise how far away Birmingham was? - Both clubs agreed to cancel the transfer.

I understood that was down to his wife kicking off.

He left West Ham, went to Villa and tried to commute to Liverpool. Everton had sold him to West Ham and then bought him back.

Big Foot Re: Stephen Hunt - he was a great servant to the club during the 106 season, had a decent couple of spells in the side when we were in the PL and was then unplayable for the first half of 08/09. Shame he did that interview on Soccer AM at Xmas 2008 and then spent the 2nd half of the season not trying, otherwise if he'd have continued his form and then got the move away in the Summer, most Reading fans would have had a very different opinion of him.

Hunt was always sh*t. Not a patch on Bobby Convey who he replaced in the team due to injuries.
Yes he worked hard but so did Andy Hughes.....
A hobbit gypsy he was...

It's not for me to say what players people should or shouldn't "hate". However I do find it a little strange that players who might have got delusions of grandeur but still contributed to the most successful period of our history are despised more that those that walked into the club, took a load of money and contributed absolutely bugger all.

Well hating someone like Martyn Booty or Michael Meaker would be akin to bullying the little kid in the playground.

Steven Hunt - SHIT, thought he was great. Justified.
Matt Mills - Unsure about him. He's a twat but played ok for us.
Greg Halford - Justified
Mikele Leigterwood - Not justifed. Agreed he's useless but at least he cares.

Quiet, unassuming guy, who turned up to training every day and unlike other strikers of that time was no trouble at all on or off the pitch. Yeah I can see why people wouldn't like Doyle.
