To be fair, I believe they have purchased all the shares they can get - If SJM or Anton were to offer some for sale I imagine STAR would up more (funds permitting).Royal Lady As for STAR - what is the point in owning such a miniscule percentage of shares?

Thankgodisfriday The rumour I heard was that Zingarevich has done one with the parachute payment that he got a forward loan on,hence the club has no money currently.

Royal Lady Maybe this should go elsewhere, but at the end of last season when we were relegated, wouldn't we have received in excess of £40 million in TV money? Assuming that is the case, where has all that money gone? Is it posible that AZ could have paid himself a nice little bonus with the bulk of it and SJM would have no say in the matter?

sandman Quite clear our director of football is not doing enough in his negotiations with players and their agents given the astronomically high wages we are apparently paying.

It's gone on the wages for last year. As has been explained ad infinitum almost every season.
How exactly is it you think we fund a wage budget in the Premier League of £46m? On £9m of Championship TV money from the season before?

"I don't own the club.. as we speak"
"I can't afford to keep it"
Good honest interview.
