Doesn't help us now the game is over

Surely the ref should now serve the 1 game ban

So what's the ref got to say about his shocking performance? If Pearce made the mistake in denying a goal scoring opportunity he would have got a 1 game ban. The ref has made several mistakes and gets fcuk all. No wonder they fcuk up so much if there are no repercussions

Why not? Is he skipping the QPR game because he'd booked a weekend away in Skegness with the misses as he thought he had the time off?

As a Reading fan I'm not complaining but the FA do seem to make some baffling decisions. I was in the North stand and immediately thought that Pearce had fouled the Wednesday striker so was not suprised by the sending off as Gorkss was not close enough to make a tackle at that point. If you look at the video and stop it at 18 seconds you can clearly see that pearce's left hand is pulling the strikers shirt before he goes down. Go figure !

This is almost as baffling as the Yaya Toure decision yesterday where Toure is getting away scot free from an incident where he clearly kicks an opponent in the kidneys as the opponent is on the ground.

Looks like more of a 'brush' of the shirt than a hold. And surely, if he did hold Afobe back then his body shape would be affected...it isn't. If you look at Afobe's feet in the video clip, he clearly dives!! If anything, he should be the one getting a ban for simulation, but obviously we know that's not possible.

Clear dive should be punished, if a certain liverpool player did it, there would be an uproar.

Floyd owes Adkins a new car

Really glad the coward in me shied away from matchimg him.

Absolutely amazed by this. I presume the decision is based on Gorkss coming across and how far the ball was from Afobe.

Remember, this isn't the FA saying Afobe dived or the penalty shouldn't have been given. It's that the red card wasn't justified. They may still agree with a penalty... we'll probably never know.

And if they thnk the ref has completely arsed up the whole thing, then he'll get a suspension, or demoted or a warning of some sort.

Gobsmacked.

There have been hundreds of more clear cut decisions that haven't been over-ruled.

Jason Roberts "elbow" sending off against Palace wasn't even appealed!

A mixed blessing really. I can just see cart horse Pearce now getting rinsed time and time again at QPR on Sunday and getting red carded again.

Why do people keep saying it was Benik Afobe that dived, it was their #10 Jacques Maghoma.

Quite possibly because it was Afobe and Maghoma is about 20 yards away (and in shot???)

Afobe is number 28.

Why is their #10 Jacques Maghoma wearing the #28 Afobe shirt?
And who is that behind the incident wearing the #10 Maghoma shirt?

Sorry, I'm completely wrong. I saw Pearce get rinsed about three times by the #10 that I presumed it was him again. My apologies. Carry on.

Firstly... Kirkland ?... the Sheff keeper should have been at least booked and WE should have had a penalty when he clearly took out Pog who would have run through.

Secondly Gorks would have got to that ball, the Sheff attacker clearly dived.

All in all we should have won 2-1... friking NAFF REF and cheating Sheff Wed players
