White Rougier Does this mean we have to start carrying knives and wear welcome to Hell scalfs?

Oh so you don't know...

We're not a family club. Friendliness = trust. Big coats = machetes, hand guns, grenades etc.
That lovely (annoying) band that always plays? Yeah. Those drums do have C4 inside.
Our announcer is actually Lenin, and our ground was built on an ancient Indian burial ground.

Reading. Rea-ding.
In Latin this translates roughly to, Hells Gates.

Jobi McAnuff was a pirate.

Experienced my first Galatasaray match - well, OK, 30 odd minutes - at the Turkcell arena last night. Two over-riding take aways:

1) Despite what people may think of Galatasaray fans, they are incredibly loud. The whole stadium in unison.

2) The Turkcell arena, despite looking impressive from the outside is piss poor. I'm not a fan of prawn sarnies with rucola but the tea bar facilities made the shed at the back of the Southbank look like Claridges. Literally consisted of an old school urn of hot water on a trestle table with a box of Lipton tea bags .... oh, and ready salted crisps. No Wagon Wheels.

Maybe we should get a loan of some of their fans?

Been a couple of delegations both ways and a couple of younger players have gone out to Turkey. That's about it. Heard Danny Williams came about as part of that scouting partnership, not entirely sure it's true.

Looks that way.

Incidentally we did take on a young Italian kid from Cremonese end of last season, Giuseppe Lauria. http://www.laprovinciacr.it/news/calcio ... ti-al.html. Not sure if he is still with us now.
