I might be mad but I reckon we still have a chance of 2nd. Burnley's next 2 are Forest & Derby. 2 draws in those games & us winning our next 2 could close the table right up....

CavershamRoyal Is Gorkss suspended for 2 games because he was sent off vs Boro as well?

A straight red is 3 games

No. It isn't.

If if's and buts were sweets and nuts then every day would be Christmas.

Still very possible if Burnley & QPR have a little wobble. To be honest I'd fancy us against the other teams in the play-offs with the exception of Burnley. They're the only team I'd be worried about.

I'd guess it will be 4 matches
He was presumably sent off for Serious Foul Play , which is a 3 game ban but he gets a bonus game as a loyal customer .

If he was sent off for deliberate handball or a 'professional foul'it would be 1+1

I'm not arguing with how many games Gorkss gets. Just that a straight red is instant 3 games. Which is trotted out for every red card even though it's completely wrong.

Top performances all, for me the stand out player is Obita, started the season as a squad player, on the bench at best, but since covering the left back slot has been outstanding now looks a seasoned professional, can't see how Bridge will get his place back, outstanding again from the young lad.

Would have been an offside for QPR's goal if he'd stepped up but splitting hairs really. He was very impressive today and if he can iron out the odd bit of defensive naivety will be a real find at left back.

LB might not be a 'glamour' position but he really could fast track himself to the top by staying in that role.

Gorrks will definitely get a 4 game ban - 3 for a straight red for serious foul play plus one for his second red of the season.

Think we are bound to appeal again, as it is such a long ban and any appeal could not be dismissed as a frivolous one.

I really do not rate Harry Redknap. He spends the earth and his sides under-achieve. However his comment after the game showed honesty - "I thought the best team won. Reading were bright, they had more energy than we did and I've got no complaints. "

He could have tried to lie but as there were no contentious decisions for him to blame the defeat on then he had no choice. If he had he would have looked even more ridiculous than his expensively assembled squad managed to look over 95 minutes under his management.

Can't be arsed to wade through 16 pages, but I was impressed by Kevin Doyle celebrating his goal against us, and delighted to see him miss the open-goal.

this is the first match ive had the opportunity to watch in a long time and i have to say that i am pleased with the team performance! at first i was nervous with the sheer amounts of long balls, but after the goal we settle down into the "adkins" style that we were supposed to be seeing. lots of passes on the ground that opened up space, retained possession, and good attacking play!

it took a while but our players seem to be adapting to the style, finally!

also williams is quite a find! he is pure quality!
