No change for me. Don't want to see Guthrie starting as I prefer our varied play without him in the team. With him we have a plan A of pass the ball to Guthrie and that is it.

What's the team that's started the last 8 games?

Because that

Fed
Pearce
Kelly
Drenthe (on after 55-60 mins)
Alfie (back to super sub)
Tshibola
Robson-Kanu

If it's not working then lose a central midfielder and bring on the Alf.

I'd have thought McCarthy would be more use for us in goal.

[I'd start Williams in front of Guthrie/Akpan on the pitch?]

Guthrie seems to drift back to just in front of the defence anyway, so it's pointless playing him anywhere else.

Alf is fit for Saturday according to Charles Watts. He picked up a knock and missed training Monday but took part yesterday.

My teams always play up the screen. If we play down gravity keeps losing the ball for us.

My thinking is that with 5 in midfield Id rather see 5 playing forward than defensively. Williams is not very disciplined, Guthrie wants to play 'quarterback'. If you put Guthrie where Williams is he'd play too deep, and Williams won't stay deep even if you tell him too! The end result is we play a bit more attacking!

Gotta be the same starting line-up.

But I fear he will tinker.

Just hope if he does it is not with Guthrie playing as effectively another Centre Back.

We have to be totally attack minded for this one.

Three team changes might be OK:
Hector for one of the centre halves
Drenthe for LeFondre
Drenthe for one of the wingers

I wouldn't like to see Guthrie back just yet.
