Royal Lady
MmmMonsterMunch The truth....(IMO)

He is an unfit nutcase who doesn't seem to be a team player at all & has moved from club to club because he obviously p1sses them all off. I suspect he has p1ssed off many a manager because of his fitness / application / attitude / integration etc. Right off the bat he's been weird anyway....sat on his own, warmed up on his own, sat on the floor instead of on the bench, no one talks to him.

I fail to see how it's anyone else's fault but his own TBH.

Good cameo on Sat but would we REALLY miss him if he went? I highly doubt it.

Also agree with the other poster that he probably gets appearance bonuses which has hindered the amount of starts he gets. But in any case, he is not fit enough for 90 minutes so if I were the manager I wouldn't start him either.

Yeah, thank heavens you're not the manager then!
Plus it is highly doubtful he is gay, considering the amount of female company he spends his time with...

Who mentioned gay?! Glad he did something useful today but I really wouldn't be that bothered if he left.

Ian Royal I still think it's bizarre people think he's fat. He's just short, broad and stocky.

Fully agree. Saw him close up as he walked from the car park to the players entrance last Saturday and he is not fat at all. Not really even bulky. What really surprised me is how short he is.

when he removed his shirt early in the season after we scored a last minute winner from his free kick he was totally oxf*rd ripped.
these people are idiots

Same as after the Yeovil match - there is not an ounce of fat on that guy.

He's potentially the most entertaining player in hoops since Blakey. Couldn't give less of a shit about his personal life, he's a great footballer and we are really fortunate to have him.

Brighton fans seemed to take an instant dislike to him with his walking / stepover showboating

Whenever Brighton start booing one of our players, you know they're the key.

FWIW, according to a friend, Drenthe was in the Grosvenor on Thursday night drinking lots and spending a lot, playing Blackjack. He said he was travelling down to Brighton on Friday to join up with the team. Probably not the sort of behaviour you'd expect from a highly paid athlete....

Seemed to actually be the ideal preparation.

Bit like Johan Cruyff and his pre match fags and Robin Friday and a few pints in the Spread.

I have noticed how he warms up at half time on his own while the others will do something in a group. Harsh to point the finger at him too much as there could be something going within his own head that no one knows about

He doesn't like crowds?

I'm starting to love Royston almost as much as Kebe in the past

If someone was to design a "Roy Roy, so good they named him twice" t-shirt I'd almost definitely but it

Finally delivering is our Royston.

So what is the truth behind this man's revival to form?

Beef with Lacoste on Hob Nob Anyone is my bet

Honestly I think it could be bereavement. His mum was in Reading recently, might have something to do with it? Otherwise a fallout with Danny Williams would be catastrophic. Where's Simon Church when you need him

Two half-decent games in a row and you've now all decided you love this huge drain on our wage bill?

K then.
