bobby1413 Today I had the group of 6 youths who looked about 14 (not being sarcastic, they were about this age) jumping around like idiots.

Are these ST holders and at most aways? If so I know them  they're decent guys (some of them) but like to act all big and 'ard at the football, ignore them (if it's them). And they're 15

I can't really rate the whole team, but I think:

McCarthy 9 - amazing safe when it was one-on-one. Some poor distribution, but what more can we expect?
Obita 7 - did his job, and was fairly reliable
..
McCleary 8 - I thought initially he was one of the brighter of the team but I think he may have been struggling with the pace, but still looked more comfortable than any other player. I also think he had the biggest influence on the team. Almost everytime he got the ball, something positive happened.

Guthrie 7 - pretty average, but did his job.

Akpan 5 - looked SO uncomfortable. Everytime he got the ball I cringed as it was just so awkward. He shouldn't be on the pitch like that.

McAnuff 6 - Looked slow, looked awkward, didn't seem himself. I think he could do better, keep in the squad as he usually offers far more than that.

Drenthe 8 - Thought he was one of th ebest and most influential players. The guy is a bulldog, he wins the balls, he makes stuff happens. It's not always pretty but it's effective. Keep him on.

Will... do you stand at the very back of Y25?

I've got nowt against those guys, but it's annoying as they seem to just talk all game about shiiiit which has nothing to do with the game. They do honestly look about 14 but it's clear they are passionate fans.

If only Akpan could ping a few passes around his own half that make the crowd ooh and ahh but don't actually go anywhere like a certain midfield partner of his does.

Agreed McCleary was very much off form today apart from after the Drenthe Sub when he created two, possibly three, of our best chances to score. Good last 15 from him but apart from that very average. Still better than Jobi

Back of Y24/Y25 yeah, they're my brothers mates and decent kids but they try and act up and it winds us all up. You're right though, they really do care about the club and it's nice to see a fair few younger people coming through and doing most games home and away.

bobby1413 Ok, the worst thing about having a season ticket, or in fact a ticket at football is the fans.

I sit at the top of Y25, and the rows GG I think, and HH are the worst, on the right side (as you look at the pitch). Today I had the group of 6 youths who looked about 14 (not being sarcastic, they were about this age) jumping around like idiots.

The group nearer the steps were the same, looked early 20s, spread over 2 rows and just shouting idiotic things all the way through. One was obsessed with Jamie Ward, as he continually shouted (very witty) things such as "WARD YOU CUUUUUUNT", "YOU'RE A WANNNNNKER WARD", "HAHA WARD YOU DIIIICK". It was so funny

Yep! I'm at the back too in CC and that twat and his obsession with Ward was getting on my tits as well.

I think Akpan is getting a rough ride today. He did a lot of the dirty work in the middle of the park which goes unnoticed by most. He did make mistakes while on the ball and can look like Bambi on ice, but he broke up a lot of Derby's play today. And he's the closest thing we've got to a defensive midfielder at the moment. If Williams had played, I think he and Guthrie might have got overrun a bit, especially with Guthrie picking up another soft yellow card (is that 8 or 9 now?)

It will be interesting to watch the replay. It was a good save but he probably could have avoided needing to make itm had his starting position been better and had he not been caught in two minds as the pass was played through to their man. Given where play was prior to the pass being made, I'm not sure he should have been so far back in his area. Also their player didn't really gain control of the ball until he was on the edge of our area so had McCarthy been further out from his goal at the outset and come quickly (as Kaspars seemed to be expecting him to do) I reckon he should have been able to clear his lines.

It was riciculously soft and extremely unfair given the way the ref had previously let some cynical blocks/fouls on Drenthe and others go unpunished. Just another shyte ref!

You must sit right near me. I'm in row JJ (the last row). However people do stand behind in the area where there are no seats, just standing room.

Akpan was much more influential than Guthrie today.

Agree RB - it was soft, but it was right in front of me and, as with many of his cards, he was half a yard behind the attacker and then put his hands across him. The guy goes down like a ton of bricks, but he gives the ref an opportunity to book him. Defensively, Guthrie is slow which is why we're better when we have a quicker water carrier playing alongside him (eg Karacan, Akpan)

A not fully fit Macreery still managed to create our 3 best chances of the game! If that was bad what was Guthrie's performance??

Quick views from my angle:

McCleary - way off form today, lost the ball a lot and made some shocking passes.
Akpan - much better in the second half.
Gunter - had a blinder today.
Obita - how the hell did he get Reading's MOTM? Their right winger had him time and again.
Gorkks - looked laboured.
Alfie - who?
Drenthe - huge work rate again just couldn't quite get it all connected, 80 minutes this time. Feel like NA is working him up to a full 90mins.
Guthrie - silly yellow card but good performance. Nice to see the bog brush is on its way out.
Blackman - ok but didn't seem in the game a lot of the time. Missed an easy run on where he could have really capitalised.
Jobi - up and down, one of his worst for a while.
Pearce - thought he had a better game than recently.

Anyone else I've missed was probably just average.

Disappointed not to win because I think we could have, but Derby are 3rd for a reason.

Ref - probably the worst we've had in the last 2 years. I just didn't think they could get any worse.

That's true - even if he did look off form today.

Harsh on Obita. First 20-30 minutes Ward was certainly getting at him but after that I thought Obita got a grip of him and Ward went out of the game.

The ref was fine.

Everything that went against us was for a reason. Nowt wrong with that.

McCleary getting some decent reviews on here, but I thought he had one of his worst games today. Opinions aye.

Bizzare decision to take off Drenthe rather than Garath/McAnuff.

Although Drenthe did miss a fairly simple chance in the first half.

ALF's miss was embarrassing, what is wrong with him lately? Also, don't fully understand why he felt the need to handball it in, if he isn't gonna reach it then why do such an obvious handball which ultimately gets him booked? Stupid from him.

Gunter MOTM.
