Geekins Why is the car number 4? :?
For 2014 drivers can pick their numbers and use those numbers for the rest of their career, It's a brand thing like football squad numbers.

The drivers all had reasons for picking their numbers except for Kimi who said "I had 7 on my car last year so don't see any reason to change it".

Button is 22, the number he had on the Brawn when he won the championship, Hamilton 44 the number he had in his Karting days, Vetel 5 as he was a Mansell fan, Rosberg 6 as his Dad won the championship with it etc etc.

Nobody picked 69 and Kimi the ice cream man didn't pick 99.

If this is still going then it's doing more than their cars are because they've both broken down on the grid.

Those engines sound terrible. Sky taking most of the races away from terrestrial television has hampered my interest in F1, but the sound of those things doesn't exactly make me want to watch a bunch of Prius' go round a track when there is a race on telly.

1 continues to be available only to the World Champion, So Vettel gets to use it this year.. .but he has 5 nabbed in case things don't go to plan.

2 F1 championship points for Marussia today and another chance to see the RFC branding in the pit lane garage on Sky TV.

Did they ever say if we could get the branding on the top back of the shirt? If they're going to be serious F1 contenders I'll have to think about getting it.

Is it known how long this link up lasts and whether RFC receive any money from the deal or is it just a reciprocal arrangement?

Yes, a tongue in cheek comment about the finances of a football club made him crash into a Tractor.
