Have you never wondered why he gets so much stick on Twitter? You can't really blame him. He's a journo and you need to fill pages in the off-season, and he added some of the nonsense on here as rumoured players we were linked with. No different to most papers really; papers aren't exactly known for their honesty and reliability are they? One of the occasions he got caught out, the rumour originated on here, it then got posted on the football rumours website, then the Twitter NITK accounts took the bait, and then he did when it was appearing all over Twitter.

I reckon Fordham is spot on when he says that there will be no takeover before the end of the season.

Almost 10 months into this thread and all we know is AZ has gone for now.

Its's a good job that SJM has stuck around but I get the feeling that he might be coming to the end of his tether. I do wonder whether we would have eventually got in to an irreversible mess had we stayed in the PL for a few years with AZ at the helm. He reminds of the idiot that owned Pompey who supposedly had a wealthy father.

We have had some great years in recent times and none of us know what the future holds. My main hope is that we can keep the academy going, as it would be great to see a Reading side made up mostly of our own youngsters.

Given the frequent spelling and grammatical errors in his stories, I really did wonder how he managed to get employment as a journalist. Surely our education system hasn't declined to the extent that the media can no longer find people who are able to spell (or even know how to use the tools that Bill Gates and his staff provide for checking such things)?!

Of course they are going to claim that their rumours have been stolen. The whole point of these people is that they want people to think they're important and have inside information when in reality they very rarely, if ever, do.
