Maguire I think we can all agree it was a pretty shocking dive from Sturridge though. It's just cheating.

Agreed. He should really be given a yellow card after a review. However, the one after (Carrick on Sturridge) was definitely another penalty, but Battenburg didn't give it, so a bit of justice there.

Sort of, giving the Carrick one and not the "dive" one would have meant Vidic wasn't sent off.

But then Vidic's red evenned (sp?) up Clattenburg's failure to send Rafael off twice, ironically the second time he dodged a second yellow it was because he was showing off his reffing skillz by going back and booking Vidic for a foul he played on from

I can't find the postings but earlier this season there were people on here saying that Everton would finish above Liverpool this season and looked almost certain of a Champions League place.
Not sure that is going to happen but I think Liverpool managed supposedly by a manager who knows f*** all about football (according to some experts on here) might just about squeeze into that top 4.
If things work out we might see him as the manager of the year and Suarez the player of the year.
How quickly things can change in football.

Why not just enjoy the fact that your (main) team look excellent this season and are now in with a genuine chance of winning the title, rather than mentioning posts, that may or may exist, where people said that Liverpool were shit?

Banners you no longer see at Anfield #28:

'We want Rafa - Rodgers is a nobody who's out of his depth here'

You would have thought it would have been better to give the money to the Hillsborough fund instead of wasting money on this......plus we've all seen how Liverpool fans have looked stupid in the past with their banners........"come back when you've got 18"

Or to the fund for the Italian victims of the rioting Liverpool fans at Heysel. Oh wait, they didn't have one for them.

At least they've moved on from their Munich 58 banners. Bless.

Correct. Maybe one day your 'fans' can move on from their Hillsborough songs. We shall see.

I did hear a few renditions of 'Always the victims - it's never your fault'....

Which, tbf - is probably more about Heysel than anything else.

I was there. They sang other songs as well. Which tbf - where definitely sick references to Hillsborough.

Big game today for the title contenders.
In previous seasons this is when Liverpool would become the also-rans scrapping for 4th spot but a win today would see them maintain a serious challenge and move them on towards the lesser target of scoring 100 goals in a season and being the team that everybody wants to watch.

Agreed.

I mean they're such appointment viewing and a massive attraction to viewers that their game this weekend isn't being broadcast on live television.

Not only do you have a problem with grammar but also the English language-what on earth does "appointment viewing" mean?
You really ought to try to engage your brain before rushing to post on any topic where Liverpool is mentioned-you do seem to have some dreadful inferiority complex when it comes to Liverpool and the mighty Liverpool FC.
There are people out there that could help you with your problem and the help might even be available on the National Health.

Sounds like a cricket game Rodgers should make his defenders do extra training this week.

No problem when you score 6 but I'm sure Rodgers will listen to your profound advice on football if you get in touch with him but if you write do make sure that it makes sense.

It's the unconditional modesty that endears me the most to Liverpool FC fans.
