Both Barnsley and Reading are struggling for goals from their strikers coming into this game...

Reading will come out of the blocks quickly as usual. IF we manage to put one of our early chances away then I am extremely confident the flood gates may open - akin to Leeds, Blackpool & Bolton. OTHERWISE I feel we are in for a frustrating battle in the trenches where it could go either way - as likely to be settled by a mistake or lack of discipline rather than by a moment of quality.

I'm going to be positive and go for 4-0 (Gorks, Jobi, Drenthe x2) 8)

Silver Fox Score prediction 3-0

Thread prediction, lots of people saying that Barnsley have a terrible away record so will definitely win

Reading4eva Worst away record in the league... coming to the most ridiculously unpredictable team in the league.

We all know whats going to happen :(

Reading 1-3 Barnsley

BUT... Don't worry we will thump Leicester and Burnley 8)

Good start m8, might have to lump on 3-0 now.

If only scorelines were as obvious and predictable as the likes of scooby

• Barnsley have lost four of their last five games.

• Barnsley have kept only five clean sheets in the league this season - the fewest in the Championship.

• Barnsley have the worst away record in the Championship. (Their only win away from home so far this season was 2-1 at Brighton on 3 December.)

With all of the above in our favour, in typical Reading style this has got “dropped points”, possibly even a defeat, written all over it.

I have a really good feeling about this one and fervently believe Barnsley will fail to breach our defense.

So this has 0-0 written all over it

Don't think Ive ever seen us score more than 5, so I hope so. I'll go with 4-1 if we score first with a goal in the opening 18 mins. 2-1 nailbiter if we just score first and 1-1 if we concede first.

confident there will be goals. If I had to make just the one prediction I'd go with the second option.

Whoever predicted a Reading win obviously knows nothing about this club.

on other results we could almost have secured our play off position, but the reading way rolls on.
