Please for the love of God drop Akpan and consider bringing Taylor on in his place as well.

I feel your frustration but he really was far from the worst perfomer on Tuesday

Agreed, but he is consistently bad.

sandman Isn't that how they pick the match officials?

Isn't that jury selection you're thinking of?

harry Seconded. Gunter has been consistently good this season, up until Tuesday night. It took me quite a while to realise that as well.

He was total crap at Brighton and had poor games against Blackburn and Yeovil. He's got to be the least hard player ever (and his throw ins really annoy me too). But does running up and down the touchline quite well

Maybe it just seems like they pick the officials ramdomly from the street.

Pretty much says it for me too. Went through a crisis of confidence at the start of the season (something McCarty now appears to be suffering from) but has proven on plenty of occasions that he is an excellent keeper. Shame he has unaccountably gone from hero to zero in the eyes of a lot of Royals fans.

An unlikely line-up but as long as Akpan is out of the midfield and Pearce is out, I really don't care.

I dont get the Anti Pearce thing. There is not one player at the club who cares more than him. Yes he has limitations as do others but when the rest all sulked off after tuesdays effort he at least came to the East Stand despite the Pathetic Booing and took it. He even clapped the fans are offered a "Chin Up" message to them.
Respect the bloke for that.
Any player that always gives 100% is alrite in my book.

You can't compare inform feds with out of form mccarthy. Macca usually has better positioning and command of his area. His

the argument has always been there's not much between them but mccarthy has the brighter future as hes got plenty of development yed and fed is a bit of a dick.

that doesn't mean it isn't worth a change.

also, hasn't mccarthy made more saves than any other chump keeper? Any keeper under that sort of pressure from his defence and midfield is likely to make errors. Don't expect fed to make it all better.

Thinking Morrison may come straight back in today at the expense of Gorkss.

Not doubting his 'commitment' and fan friendly platitudes, I just think he's a terrible defender.
